Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The SW Oregon make the most of 6 hits in 6-5 victory over the Lower Columbia

Story by Narrative Science.

The SW Oregon (25-10) and the Lower Columbia (26-10) both threatened with rallies, but it was the SW Oregon that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-5 win at Tam O' Shanter Park.

The fact that the SW Oregon grouped all of their runs into the fifth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Bobbi Bertsch racked up three RBIs on one hit for the SW Oregon. He homered in the fifth inning.

Ashley Kelly put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Lower Columbia. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Lauren Spencer recorded his thirteenth win for the SW Oregon even though he allowed five runs over six innings. Spencer struck out one, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Krystina Fischer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out three.
