The Lower Columbia (16-4) blew out the Clackamas 10-2 on Wednesday at Clackamas Community College Sof after pouring on seven runs in the second inning.
The Lower Columbia scored in the second on an error, an error, an RBI single by Ashley Kelly, an RBI double by Sam Boyce, an RBI single by Hannah Rothwell, an RBI single by Bailey Hockett, an RBI single by Hockett, and a two-run double by Mariah Mendez.
Kelly racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Lower Columbia.
Ceidilee Norbriga had an impressive outing against the Lower Columbia's lineup. The Lower Columbia managed just two hits off of the the Clackamas (16-5)'s pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.
Krystina Fischer improved to 9-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered three hits.
Hannah Vandomelen couldn't get it done on the mound for the Clackamas, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
