Anna Lennox clubbed two home runs to carry the Pierce (16-19) to a 9-1 win over the Olympic (14-19) at Heritage Recreation Center in five innings.
The offense exploded for the the Pierce in the second. The Olympic had no answer as the Pierce scored five runs. The Pierce scored in the second on a two-run single by Emily Bishop, an error, and a two-run home run by Lennox.
Lennox pitched lights out for the Pierce. Lennox gave up just four hits, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one during his five innings of work.
Rachel Ranyak (7-2) took the loss for the Olympic. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked one and struck out two.
The Pierce were sparked by Kailey Nobriga and Lennox, who teamed up for five hits and seven RBIs.
