The Green River fall 10-3 at the hands of the Lower Columbia

The Green River (3-21) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Lower Columbia (20-8) captured a blowout 10-3 win at David Story Field.

The Lower Columbia scored four runs in the fifth on the Lower Columbia scored in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Lorin Archibald, a solo home run by Hayden Gerlach, an RBI single by Riley Higgins, and a double by Taylor Davis.

Gerlach racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Lower Columbia.

Anthony Garcia put together a nice outing. The Green River managed just one hit off of the the Lower Columbia's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Kekoa Nahaku was hot from the plate for the Green River. Nahaku went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Tyler Parsons got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed three runs over six innings. Parsons struck out five, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Ikaika Nahaku was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
