The Lower Columbia (16-8) and the Pierce (14-9) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Lower Columbia capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-4 win at David Story Field.
Gunnar Schubert was hot from the plate for the Pierce. Schubert went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.
Max Tilton improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Keenan Lum was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
