The Edmonds (15-5) didn't put up much of a fight on Friday, as the Lower Columbia (13-7) cruised to a blowout 8-2 win at David Story Field.

A three-run home run by Lorin Archibald delivered the runs in the eighth. The Lower Columbia had one hit in the inning.

Archibald racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Lower Columbia.

Daniel Bateman got on base four times in the game for the Edmonds. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Joel Worden improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He allowed two runs over six innings. Worden struck out six, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Nick Johnston (2-1) took the loss for the Edmonds. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
