Connor Anderson had three RBIs as the Yakima Valley (12-8) took home an 8-3 victory over the Spokane (11-5) at Spokane Falls Community College on Wednesday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Spokane's Mitchell Cox. Cox went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Isaac Mitchum recorded his second win of the year for the Yakima Valley. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Mitchum struck out one, walked five and gave up four hits.

Jared Smith was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
