The Yakima Valley make the most of 6 hits in 4-2 victory over the Green River

The Yakima Valley (10-8) and the Green River (1-12) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Yakima Valley capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-2 win at Parker Field .

The Green River couldn't get anything going so long as Parker Depasquale was on the hill. Depasquale held the Green River hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Hunter Boyd improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Yakima Valley. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Taylor Scarvie couldn't get it done on the bump for the Green River, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
