A walk-off single from Sam Glowicki brought home the winning run for the Big Bend (21-7) in a 6-5 victory over the Wenatchee Valley at BBCC Baseball Field on Saturday.
Glowicki had a hot bat for the Big Bend. Glowicki went 2-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.
Nolan Wirth was hot from the plate for the Wenatchee Valley (3-25). Wirth went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Cameron Ball got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
David Romanowski (0-2) took the loss for the Wenatchee Valley. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
