The Big Bend (18-5) and the Yakima Valley (20-9) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Big Bend that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-2 win at BBCC Baseball Field .

Steven Christen picked up the win for the Big Bend. Christen pitched six innings and allowed no earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out two.

Kasey Bailey was hot from the plate for the Yakima Valley. Bailey went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first, fifth, and ninth innings.

Riley Benedetti (4-2) took the loss for the Yakima Valley. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
