The Blue Mountain (6-38) failed to take advantage of Sarah Bonner's effort at the plate on Saturday, losing 19-6 to the Columbia Basin (30-14) in five innings at BMCC Softball Field .
Bonner rocked the Columbia Basin with two home runs. Bonner went 3-3 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Bonner homered in the first and fourth innings.
The Columbia Basin blew out the Blue Mountain thanks to 15 hits, including zero extra base hits. Bonner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.
