The Blue Mountain (6-38) failed to take advantage of Sarah Bonner's effort at the plate on Saturday, losing 19-6 to the Columbia Basin (30-14) in five innings at BMCC Softball Field .

Bonner rocked the Columbia Basin with two home runs. Bonner went 3-3 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Bonner homered in the first and fourth innings.

The Columbia Basin blew out the Blue Mountain thanks to 15 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Columbia Basin scored eight runs in the fifth on the Columbia Basin scored in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Maddy Jones, an RBI double by Suzanna Lubanski, an RBI single by Kadi Patterson, an RBI single by Terin Wade, a two-run single by Brittany Vickerman, and a two-run single by Megan McMurrin.

McMurrin racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Columbia Basin.

Kayla Andrews got his twenty-fifth win for the Columbia Basin despite allowing six runs over 3 1/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Bonner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.
