Andrews leads the Columbia Basin to 9-2 victory

Kayla Andrews powered the Columbia Basin (17-6) at the plate and on the bump Saturday, willing the Columbia Basin to a 9-2 victory over the Walla Walla.

Andrews racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Columbia Basin. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Andrews picked up the win for the Columbia Basin. Andrews pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out five.

The Columbia Basin blew out the Walla Walla (9-10) thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. A home run by Andrews helped the Columbia Basin score four runs in the fourth. The Columbia Basin had one hit in the inning.

Anna Williams got on base two times in the game for the Walla Walla. He doubled in the first innings.

Brittney Bradley (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked six and struck out one.
