Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Highline (3-7) and the Columbia Basin (12-4), as the two teams put up 20 runs combined in a 12-8 the Highline win.

Taylor Poe racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Highline. He singled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.

Maddy Jones had two extra-base hits for the Columbia Basin. He doubled in the third and fifth innings and singled in the sixth inning.

Kayla Andrews put together a nice outing. Andrews held the Highline hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Kayla Higa got his first win for the Highline despite allowing eight runs over seven innings. Higa struck out four, walked six and gave up eight hits.

Sarah Gilliam (0-3) took the loss for the Columbia Basin. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
