The Liberal BeeJays make the most of 8 hits in 8-5 victory over the El Dorado Broncos

Both the Liberal BeeJays (8-2) and the El Dorado Broncos (3-2) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Liberal BeeJays that were able to take advantage, pulling out an 8-5 win at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Nick Brooks racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Liberal BeeJays. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Will Olds got the win for the Liberal BeeJays thanks to seven strikeouts. The Liberal BeeJays' pitcher tossed 4 2/3 innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Elijah Christenson was hot from the plate for the El Dorado Broncos. Christenson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Josh Witherspoon (0-2) took the loss for the El Dorado Broncos. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
