Three first-inning runs helped the Bourne Braves (2-0) to a 4-0 win over the Wareham Gatemen (0-2) at Spillane Field on Tuesday.

A three-run home run by CJ Chatham delivered the runs in the first. The Bourne Braves had two hits in the inning.

Chatham racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Bourne Braves.

Kyle Driscoll's six strikeouts were enough to push the Bourne Braves past the Wareham Gatemen. The Bourne Braves' pitcher tossed 3 1/3 innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

A bright spot for the Wareham Gatemen in the defeat was Brett Hanewich, who allowed only three runs while striking out six.

Hanewich (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
