MCDougall's single gives the Regina Red Sox walk-off win over the Yorkton Cardinals, 8-7

A walk-off single from Geordie MCDougall brought home the winning run for the Regina Red Sox (2-0) in an 8-7 victory over the Yorkton Cardinals (0-2) at Currie Field on Monday.

Tanner Stokey paced the Regina Red Sox at the plate. Stokey went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth, sixth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Dondrei Hubbard racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Louis Cohen got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He pitched one shutout inning. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Aaron Dick (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
