Kade Hall went 1-4 and hit a home run, helping the Treasure Valley (30-17) to a 4-2 victory over the Columbia Basin (30-12) on Wednesday at Columbia Basin Baseball Field.
He homered in the eighth inning.Tyler Laird had an impressive outing against the Columbia Basin's lineup. The Columbia Basin managed just two hits off of the the Treasure Valley's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out three during his six innings of work.
Logan Green did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Columbia Basin, reaching base three times. He tripled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.
Karver Pate baffled the Treasure Valley, striking out 10 batters. Pate allowed four earned runs, five hits and one walk over 7 2/3 innings.
Tanner Cantwell got the win, running his season record to 7-3. Cantwell struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.
Pate (5-4) took the loss for the Columbia Basin.
