Rader helps the Wellington Heat down the Liberal BeeJays 10-5

The Wellington Heat (3-0) beat the Liberal BeeJays (2-1) 10-5 on Tuesday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium behind Chase Rader, who went 2-4.

He singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Brady Cox racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Liberal BeeJays. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Anthony Caenepael improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wellington Heat. He allowed four runs over six innings. Caenepael struck out four, walked one and gave up five hits.

Matt Michalski couldn't get it done on the mound for the Liberal BeeJays, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
