The Wichita Alumni (1-1) pounded the Kansas Cannons (0-2) on Sunday 7-1 at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Mike Turner (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
