The Pompano Beach Clippers (29-4) and the Delray Beach Lightning (17-19) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Pompano Beach Clippers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-3 win at Miller Park.

Nate Mcmaster had an impressive outing against the Delray Beach Lightning's lineup. Mcmaster gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

The Pompano Beach Clippers couldn't get anything going as long as Ethan Hanson was pitching. Hanson held the Pompano Beach Clippers hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Patrick Hueller ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
