The East All Stars (1-0) continued to pile up the runs on Monday, scoring eight runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 18-2 win over the West All Stars (0-1) at Veterans Memorial Park.
A two-run double by Joe Venturino and a three-run home run by Chris Reynolds helped the East All Stars score five runs in the ninth. The East All Stars had three hits in the inning.
Ryan Hooper racked up three RBIs on two hits for the East All Stars. He homered in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Kyle Smith brought the heat against the West All Stars during his outing. Smith held the West All Stars hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Tyler Ehlers got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over one inning. Ehlers struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.
Logan Harasta (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
