The Edmonds take out the Lane with help from Weber, 11-7

Steven Weber had two extra base hits, helping the Edmonds (5-1) to an 11-7 victory over the Lane (1-1) on Sunday at Stayton High School.

He homered in the third inning and tripled in the fourth inning.

Nick Johnston picked up the win for the Edmonds. Johnston allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out two over six innings of work.

Ben Giland racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Lane. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Landen Bourassa couldn't get it done on the bump for the Lane, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.

The Edmonds were sparked by Spencer Greene and Zach Needham, who teamed up for eight hits and six RBIs.
