Jeremy Randolph kept the Springfield Sliders (23-28) off the board during his six innings of work and the Terre Haute Rex (39-12) beat the Springfield Sliders, 1-0.

Randolph struck out four and allowed two walks and five hits.

A bright spot for the Springfield Sliders in the defeat was Kellen Rholl, who allowed only one run while striking out five.
