The Ontario take out the British Columbia with help from Keys, 4-1

Travis Keys went 1-2, sparking the Ontario (1-1) to a 4-1 victory in seven innings over the British Columbia (0-1) on Thursday at Julien Morin.

He singled in the fifth inning.

Shane Barker had an impressive outing against the British Columbia's lineup. Barker gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his four innings of work.

Despite the loss, the British Columbia's Cooper Misic dominated the Ontario's batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.

Zachary Fascia got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings. Fascia struck out three, walked three and gave up two hits.

Misic ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
