Enns' walk-off single send the Swift Current Indians home winners, 6-5

A walk-off single from Tyler Enns brought home the winning run for the Swift Current Indians (16-29) in a 6-5 victory over the Melville Millionaires at Mitchell Field on Wednesday.

The Swift Current Indians were led by Enns' hitting. Enns went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Nate Ackerman had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the sixth inning, tripled in the seventh inning, and singled in the ninth inning.

AJ McElderry pitched lights out for the Swift Current Indians. The Melville Millionaires (18-26) managed just two hits off of McElderry, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Anthony Cusati racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Melville Millionaires. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Bobby St Pierre recorded his first win of the year for the Swift Current Indians. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Austin Stewart was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The Swift Current Indians were sparked by Enns and Ackerman, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
