The bats were busy at Ross Wells Park on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the Moose Jaw Miller Express (5-8) had an 11-8 win over the Melville Millionaires (3-8).

The two teams combined for 24 hits in the game.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express were led by Miles Orscheln's hitting. Orscheln went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Marion McLean was hot from the plate for the Melville Millionaires. McLean went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Grant Westmoreland recorded his first win of the year for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He allowed two runs over four innings. Westmoreland struck out five, walked two and gave up two hits.

Kyle Loson (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
