The Santa Fe Fuego make the most of 10 hits in 8-7 victory over the Las Vegas Train Robbers

The Santa Fe Fuego (32-18) and the Las Vegas Train Robbers (22-36) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Santa Fe Fuego that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-7 win at Central Park.

It was a good day at the plate for the Santa Fe Fuego's Matt Petrone. Petrone went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, second, and ninth innings.

Jordan Caillouet racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He homered in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Tyler Herr improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Scott Stonestreet ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
