An excellent effort by Danny Grauer spurred the Roswell Invaders (20-16) to a 16-15 win over the Santa Fe Fuego (20-9) on Wednesday at Fort Marcy Park.

Grauer racked up nine RBIs on four hits for the Roswell Invaders. He homered in the first, second, and fourth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Louie Saenz racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He singled in the third inning and homered in the first and sixth innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 31 runs and 29 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 11 pitchers in total.

Sergio Canales got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over two innings. Canales struck out two, walked one and gave up no hits.

Nakamura Mitsuo (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
