A four-run eighth inning sealed a 9-3 win for the Roswell Invaders (24-19) over the White Sands Pupfish (26-16) on Monday at Griggs Park.

The Roswell Invaders scored in the eighth on a two-run single by Michael Granda, a steal of home by Aaron Carman, and a passed ball.

Joey Miller racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Roswell Invaders. He doubled in the first innings and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Ryan Davis got the win for the Roswell Invaders thanks to nine strikeouts. Davis allowed three earned runs, eight hits and three walks over nine innings.

Michael Brandi had a hot bat for the White Sands Pupfish. Brandi went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Derek Meyer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
