The Roswell Invaders (34-27) and the Las Cruces Vaqueros (17-45) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Roswell Invaders that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-6 win at Joe Bauman Park.

Aaron Carman was hot from the plate for the Roswell Invaders. Carman went 2-3 and scored three runs. He singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Miguel Castano racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Las Cruces Vaqueros. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Corey Lathram-Skillman recorded his fourth win of the year for the Roswell Invaders. Lathram-Skillman struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

James Taylor (0-4) took the loss for the Las Cruces Vaqueros. He lasted just 7 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
