The White Sands Pupfish (7-2) and the Alpine Cowboys (7-2) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the White Sands Pupfish that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-5 win at Kokernot Field.

Aaron Olivas led the White Sands Pupfish's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third, fifth, and eighth innings.

The Alpine Cowboys were led by Matt Henriksen's hitting. Henriksen went 4-5 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and ninth innings.
