Jason Moore went 1-2 as the Phipps Park Barracudas (14-9) took home a 2-1 victory over the Coral Springs Royals (9-16) at Forrest Hill H.S. on Monday.

Miguel Castellanos handled the Coral Springs Royals' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. The Phipps Park Barracudas' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Stuart Spiers allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

Anthony Hotujec got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Spiers was charged with his fourth loss of the year.
