Timothy Smith JR collected three hits, sparking the West Palm Beach Eagles (2-2) to a 9-5 victory over the Coral Springs Royals (1-2) on Monday at Santaluces.

Jesse Arnold put together a nice outing. The Coral Springs Royals managed just one hit off of Arnold, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Brandon Rojas got his first win for the West Palm Beach Eagles despite allowing five runs over three innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Ben Welch couldn't get it done on the bump for the Coral Springs Royals, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
