Benhart's double propels the West Palm Beach Eagles past the Delray Beach Lightning, 7-4

The West Palm Beach Eagles (7-9) built an early lead against the Delray Beach Lightning (8-9), scoring five runs in the first inning, en route to a 7-4 win on Friday at Miller Park.

The West Palm Beach Eagles scored in the first on a two-run double by Adam Benhart, a two-run double by Mac Hessney, a two-run double by Hessney, and an RBI single by Chris Perez.

Hessney racked up two RBIs on two hits for the West Palm Beach Eagles.

Kameron Lockett had an impressive outing against the Delray Beach Lightning's lineup. The Delray Beach Lightning managed just one hit off of Lockett, who allowed two earned runs, walked three and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Zach Devincenzo pitched lights out for the Delray Beach Lightning. The West Palm Beach Eagles managed just one hit off of the the Delray Beach Lightning's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Brando Centrone (1-2) took the loss for the Delray Beach Lightning. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
