Danny Diaz went 2-4 and hit a home run as the Florida Pokers (4-9) took home an 8-3 victory over the Delray Beach Lightning (8-8) at Miller Park on Wednesday.

Sean Gabel brought the heat against the Delray Beach Lightning during his outing. The Delray Beach Lightning managed just one hit off of Gabel, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Brendan Long improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Florida Pokers. He allowed two runs over four innings. Long struck out five, walked one and gave up five hits.

Maurizio Devita (0-2) took the loss for the Delray Beach Lightning. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
