Sixth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Palm Beach Xtreme, 10-1

A seven-run explosion in the sixth inning led the Palm Beach Xtreme (3-1) to a 10-1 win over the Phipps Park Barracudas at Forrest Hill H.S. on Saturday.

The Palm Beach Xtreme scored in the sixth on a hit by pitch, a double by Nick Oberg, a solo home run by Drew Hanke, , and a solo home run by Damian Boyum.

Hanke racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Palm Beach Xtreme.

The Phipps Park Barracudas (0-3)'s lineup had no answer for Alex Urrutia. The Phipps Park Barracudas managed just one hit off of the the Palm Beach Xtreme's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Phipps Park Barracudas' Josh Zilla dominated the Palm Beach Xtreme's batters, giving up one run and striking out seven.

Zilla (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
