Justin Mannens went 2-3, helping the Nevada Big Horns (9-12) to a 5-4 victory over the Sacramento Spikes on Wednesday at Sierra Junior College.

Brett Minnick had an impressive outing against the Sacramento Spikes' lineup. Minnick gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Faulkner got on base four times in the game for the Sacramento Spikes. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Joe Clara pitched lights out for the Sacramento Spikes. The Nevada Big Horns managed just one hit off of the the Sacramento Spikes' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Daniel Page recorded his first win of the year for the Nevada Big Horns. Page struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Mike Lpez took the loss for the Sacramento Spikes. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
