The Adirondack Trail Blazers (9-11) and the Albany Dutchmen (8-12) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Adirondack Trail Blazers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-2 win at CPSC-Bob Bellizzi Field.

Brett Connors racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Will Jahn picked up the win for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. Jahn allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings of work.

Mike Reitcheck was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the Adirondack Trail Blazers batters and allowing three runs.

Reitcheck ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
