The Top Speed Baseball outlast the Fairfield Indians in high-scoring affair, 11-8

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Top Speed Baseball (6-0) outscored the Fairfield Indians 11-8.

The two teams combined for 27 hits in the game.

Drew Taylor racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He singled in the eighth inning.

Jeremy Bagnall pitched lights out for the Top Speed Baseball. The Fairfield Indians managed just one hit off of the the Top Speed Baseball's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out six during his two innings of work.

Garlin Webster racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Fairfield Indians. He singled in the first, third, and ninth innings.

Eric Gleese recorded his second win of the year for the Top Speed Baseball. Gleese struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Troy Nixon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed 11 runs in nine innings, walked two and struck out nine.
