Jordan Kurokawa kept the Alameda Merchants (23-19) off the board during his six innings of work and the Top Speed Baseball (41-6) beat the Alameda Merchants, 4-0.

Kurokawa struck out seven and allowed three walks and one hit.

Steven Knudson rocked the Alameda Merchants with two home runs. Knudson went 2-2 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Knudson homered in the first and fifth innings.

Patrick McKnight was effective even in defeat, mowing down seven the Top Speed Baseball batters and allowing two runs.

CJ Jacobe (1-2) took the loss for the Alameda Merchants. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
