Eric Hassel went 2-3 and hit a home run as the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (17-22) took home a 7-3 victory over the Seacoast Mavericks (12-29) in seven innings at Doyle Field on Saturday.

Keith Oren did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Seacoast Mavericks, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

TJ Santiago improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He allowed one run over four innings. Santiago struck out five, walked none and gave up six hits.

Ryan Ricci ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out none.
