The bats were busy at Doyle Field on Wednesday, and when the dust cleared the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (2-4) had a 10-8 win over the Bristol Blues (3-3).

The two teams combined for 20 hits in the game.

Jason Fatzinger racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He singled in the second and fifth innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Davis Strong racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Bristol Blues. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

John Napolitano improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He allowed one run over one inning. Napolitano struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Riley Streit (0-1) took the loss for the Bristol Blues. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked one and struck out one.
