The Bourne Braves (21-20) and the Wareham Gatemen (16-25) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Bourne Braves that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at Doran Park.

Nick Solak had a hot bat for the Bourne Braves. Solak went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Despite the loss, the Wareham Gatemen's Grant Dyer dominated the Bourne Braves' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out seven.

Tyler Deel recorded his first win of the year for the Bourne Braves. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Ryan Olson couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Wareham Gatemen, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
