Aaron Knapp went 2-5 as the Chatham Anglers (22-19) took home a 3-2 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (14-26) at Arnie Allen Diamond on Wednesday.
He singled in the sixth and eighth innings.Brandon Miller pitched lights out for the Chatham Anglers. Miller held the Falmouth Commodores hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Heath Quinn had a hot bat for the Falmouth Commodores. Quinn went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.
Turner Larkins held the Chatham Anglers scoreless for six innings. Larkins allowed three hits, two walks and struck out two.
Cobi Johnson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
