Fourth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Chatham Anglers, 13-6

A seven-run explosion in the fourth inning spurred the Chatham Anglers (14-11) to a 13-6 win over the Wareham Gatemen at Veterans Field on Wednesday.

The Chatham Anglers scored in the fourth on a wild pitch, an RBI single by Jake Fraley, , a two-run single by Trenton Brooks, and a two-run double by Luke Persico.

Brooks racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Chatham Anglers.

Ty Damron put together a nice outing. The Wareham Gatemen (11-13) managed just three hits off of the the Chatham Anglers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Charlie Warren got on base three times in the game for the Wareham Gatemen. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the eighth inning and doubled in the ninth innings.

Matt Krook was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
