Six first-inning runs helped the Falmouth Commodores (9-16) to a 6-1 win over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (15-10) at Arnie Allen Diamond on Wednesday.
The Falmouth Commodores scored in the first on a solo home run by Michael Tinsley, an RBI double by JJ Matijevic, a two-run single by Shane Benes, an RBI single by JB Woodman, and an RBI single by Nick Lovullo.
Tinsley was solid at the plate for the Falmouth Commodores. Tinsley went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run.
Conor Costello picked up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. Costello pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk while striking out two.
Nick Deeg (3-2) took the loss for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
