Andrew Calica drove in four runs, helping the Wareham Gatemen (11-9) to a 7-4 victory over the Bourne Braves (9-10) on Friday at Spillane Field.

Evan Hill pitched lights out for the Wareham Gatemen. The Bourne Braves managed just two hits off of the the Wareham Gatemen's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Max McDowell was hot from the plate for the Bourne Braves. McDowell went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Stephen Woods Jr. improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wareham Gatemen. He allowed three runs over 1 2/3 innings. Woods Jr. struck out two, walked one and gave up two hits.

Alex Robles (0-3) took the loss for the Bourne Braves. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
