The Falmouth Commodores (4-4) and the Wareham Gatemen (3-5) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Falmouth Commodores that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 1-0 win at Arnie Allen Diamond.

The fact that the Falmouth Commodores grouped all of their runs into the seventh inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Alex Phillips put together a nice outing. The Wareham Gatemen managed just two hits off of the the Falmouth Commodores' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Wareham Gatemen's Zac Houston dominated the Falmouth Commodores' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out nine.

Sean Gustin got the win, running his season record to 1-1. Gustin struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.

Ian Hamilton (0-1) took the loss for the Wareham Gatemen. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
