A walk-off single from Chuck Ghysels brought home the winning run for the Traverse City Beach Bums (51-33) in a 6-5 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (36-50) at Wuerfel Park on Saturday.

Yazy Arbelo racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Alan Oaks had an impressive outing against the Windy City ThunderBolts' lineup. Oaks held the Windy City ThunderBolts hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Jake Fisher was effective even in defeat, mowing down seven the Traverse City Beach Bums batters and allowing three runs.

Ghysels recorded his sixth win of the year for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Ghysels struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

James Ferguson (1-1) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
