An awesome effort by Eddie Cody lifted the Schaumburg Boomers (31-43) to a 2-0 win over the Windy City ThunderBolts (30-43) on Wednesday at Schaumburg Baseball Stadium.

Cody held the Windy City ThunderBolts scoreless for seven innings. Cody allowed two hits, no walks and struck out three.

Austin Wright (4-9) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed two runs.
